2. Android System Permissions & Justification

To deliver its core privacy shielding and anti-snatching defenses, Anti Phone Snatcher utilizes specific Android operating system permissions. All processing remains strictly local to your device:

• Display Over Other Apps (SYSTEM_ALERT_WINDOW): Required exclusively to render the privacy curtain (blackout screen, directional louvers, or blurred shield) over your active screen when triggered by you or security sensors.
• Accessibility Service (BIND_ACCESSIBILITY_SERVICE): Used solely to enable two on-device physical security protections:
  • Physical Volume Trigger: Enables double-pressing the Volume Down button to instantly black out or disarm the privacy curtain.
  • Anti-Theft Tamper Shield: Detects attempts to pull down the notification quick-settings shade or open system settings while privacy blackout is armed, locking down the phone.
  Note: Anti Phone Snatcher NEVER accesses, reads, logs, or transmits keystrokes, messages, screen text, passwords, or communications.
• Motion & Accelerometer Sensors: Used strictly in real-time to compute sudden acceleration vectors when the Anti-Snatch Sentinel feature is activated. Sensor data is analyzed continuously in local memory and discarded instantaneously; it is never saved or recorded.
• Foreground Service (FOREGROUND_SERVICE): Ensures the privacy overlay remains persistent and unkillable by system memory cleaners during active privacy shielding.

3. Third-Party Services & Analytics

Anti Phone Snatcher does not include any third-party software development kits (SDKs), advertising networks, or analytics frameworks (e.g., Google Analytics, Firebase, Facebook SDK, or crash reporting services). Your device makes no outbound network connections for analytics.

4. Data Storage & Security

User preferences (such as chosen recovery PIN, tap unlock sequence, and visual curtain theme) are stored exclusively on your device using Android's encrypted DataStore preferences. They never leave your device.

5. Children's Privacy

Because Anti Phone Snatcher collects no personal data whatsoever, it is fully compliant with COPPA and global child privacy regulations. It does not solicit information from anyone under the age of 13.
